Strategy

K-bao explains her defense strategy in a game of chess.

Some of it involves emotional intimidation: "And you are going to be so sad!"

She then goes on to explain in detail to K-Pop the implications of her ultimate end goal: K-Pop's humiliating loss at the hands of his four-year-old.

Birthday Politics

Happy birthday sweetie! It was K-bao's 4th birthday yesterday and here she partakes of her favorite dessert (also known as, "Oh my goodness, chocolate cake!!")

It must be recorded for posterity that K-bao achieved new levels of political behavior on her 4th birthday. K-Pop was late in arriving home due to a delayed flight, and rather than demonstrating her filial piety and self-control by waiting patiently, K-bao declared at 7 p.m. to K-Mum, "It's ok, let'sjust have the cake with you, me and Aunt Chris. I can't wait anymore!" After some heated negotiation, K-Mum talked the little one into holding on just a little bit longer.

Then, upon arriving home, K-Pop was greeted with the following: "Daddy, look, I picked out the chocolate cake for you because I know that chocolate is your favorite!" Left unsaid of course was the fact that (1) chocolate happens to be her favorite too; and (2) the cake would already have been eaten had K-Mum not intervened.

Princesses

K-bao is in her Princess Stage (and destined not to emerge for about 7 more years), and was therefore particularly excited about having the opportunity to meet and exchange hugs with Ariel and Jasmine a few days ago.

Incidentally, she also saw Cinderella, Snow White and Belle at a distance - but was very understanding of how those princesses had to rush back to their respective castles to tend to their princes and therefore couldn't stop for a picture.

Silly

For her upcoming 4th birthday, K-bao got a trip to Disneyland with the K-folks this winter holiday.

Here she is sharing a silly moment on the Disneyland Railroad with K-Pop and K-Mum.

Happy birthday K-bao!
